Bond and brook. tea and scones in the city!

I have been to Bond Brook more than five times now, and every time has been comfortable and relaxing. You hardly find the place completely packed, so it's good for chatting with friends and family after a long day shopping. Not only do they have good taste for interiors they also have good taste in fashion, the photos in the restaurant are of classic Dior couture photos.
Bond and Brook, is a place where you expect the Sex and the city ladies to be dining in after hard days of shopping. Elegant and chic, Bond and Brook is tucked inside Fenwick department store in Luxury brands central Bond Street.

Metallic round bar, clean cut white table clothes and huge fashion books. a great place for fashionistas or just those looking for a comfy place to sit down and unwind.
Afternoon tea at Bond and Brook (I think it is around £18 or so), the tea is available from 3pm. Includes finger sandwiches; cream cheese and cucumber, salmon and cream, ham and mustard (quite plain though not much surprise there). The second tier; delicious scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. The top tier is strawberry and cream cone, chocolate brownie./cake (the best!), fondant fancies (bit sweet) and mini battenberg cakes (quite good). And I want to point out a really good drink the shakerato (£3.50), which is made from espresso, ice and sugar and shaken hard in a shaker, a couple of shakes later, it's poured out.

I chose the flowering tea to go with my afternoon tea, the flowering/blossoming tea is made from binding together leaves and flowers and letting it dry, and once it comes in contact with the hot water it will start blossoming out. The tea is usually jasmine, lily, chrysanthemum and more.
My other trip to Bond and Brook......
Hand cut chips (I have a secret thing for chips hee hee) around £3.50 or so, macaroons (below) and tea (prices start from £2.50 to around £5.00 depends on the tea.)
This shows how good the shakerato is.......A very concentrated and cool drink a very sophisticated look as well haha, feels like something James Bond would drink hahaha
Assorted macaroons (4 for £3.00 and 6 for £4.50), was good but I do prefer the ones from either Laduree or Fortnum and Mason which I found was even better.

And lastly my most recent trip, just stopped for some tea and scones....

Tea and scones (£8.50), scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam with a choice of tea.

Final verdict.........
Environment 7-8/10 quite good, comfortable and clean. Food 6/10 the scones are really good, the tea selection is quite wide and the shakerato is definitely worth the trip. Service 6/10, the service does fluctuate sometimes you get great service but sometimes they can be not very caring, but overall it's good. Value for money 6/10 considering the location and the food quality it is definitely acceptable, much better than some of the restaurants and cafes in the area!!

It's one of my favourite places to visit when I'm in the area, it's not too pricey for the location, the food is good and you can enjoy a good cup of tea in a very comfortable surrounding, and when you finish you can continue your shopping!
